Calon Cwtch Retreat is a day of relaxation, teaching and a way to connect with your authentic self. The day is being organised by Debbie Brookes at the bequest of her students. Debbie has over 25 years’ experience teaching yoga and well-being. Her teachings have drawn from many different traditions, her eclectic style of teaching lends itself to continual learning.
Her classes are welcoming, open and inclusive and build upon strengths and will help guide you towards your authentic self. There will also be other teachers coming to share their knowledge and create unique experiences such as:
- Paula Mcreary a Herbalist will share her unique knowledge of how herbal medicine provides an excellent natural way to re-balance the body and mind.
- Jules Heavens, an experienced sound practitioner and therapist explores sound wisdom through our own voices (no singing ability needed) Discover how sound can support your energy, and wellbeing. Following this will be a ‘Gong bath’ the sacred sound of Tibetan bowls, chimes, and the drum where you are invited to relax and unwind as the gongs transport and support you to a space for deep relaxation, reflection, rejuvenation and cleansing.
- Lisa Harley teaches in many different areas and is a yoga teacher. Biodynamic Cranio Sacral Therapist Lisa Harley (cranial sacral therapist yoga teacher. Earth Song Yoga is a fusion of form and flow. Using leading edge biomechanics, functional anatomy, and creative patterns of movement to support optimal strength, flexibility, and vitality in the body temple.

Caru Cwtch Retreat will be held in the John Burns Centre, Carmarthen Rd, Kidwelly SA17 5AB on Saturday 1st September from 10am till 5pm. Cost per person is £75, and £65 for concessions.
